Range: Africa, southwestern Asia, India
Habitat: Forest, savanna, shrubland, desert
Food: Snakes, rodents, birds, eggs, honey and bee larvae
Honey badgers can weigh up to 30 pounds and stand up to 11 inches tall at the shoulder. They have thick, loose skin. If attacked by a predator, they can writhe around to fight back or break loose.
