The Zoo’s largest outdoor picnic space, the Roughneck Pavilion overlooks Zoo Lake and provides fantastic views and photo opportunities with the Don T. Zachritz Azalea Garden located just outside the space.
Picnic seating is accented by a high wood plank ceiling and two fireplaces. Your guests will enjoy the lawn access and playgrounds just steps beyond this venue. The Roughneck Pavilion is a perfect fit for company picnics, wedding receptions, engagement parties, and other special events.
