Peak Season: Summer and Fall
Planted in 1985, the Dan Moran Aviary Garden is both a shade garden and a pollinator garden. The shade garden on the western side hosts a viburnum collection, philodendrons, and ferns alongside carved stumps. On the eastern side a full-sun pollinator garden planted with cow pen daisy, butterfly milkweed, beeblossum, and lantana brings color all summer long. Expect to see butterflies and bees alongside the colorful plants they need.
