Peak Season: Summer
Installed in 2015, the Howard Family Courtyard displays a row of annuals in front of a row of perennials. Designed around drought-tolerant plants, expect to see sedums, carpet juniper, yuccas, verbena, and the yarrow collection on display. After you gaze upon the beauty of our yarrow and verbena plants, you can turn around and see our two female bison, named Yarrow and Verbena. An elm tree in the back provides shade for the plants below.
