Go behind the scenes at the Oklahoma Trails habitat for an up-close encounter with the Zoo’s bears! This 30-minute experience is led by an OKC Zoo Brand Ambassador as well as one of the expert caretakers from the Zoo’s carnivore team. Guests will learn more about the bears, their habitat, personalities and what the Zoo is doing to help them thrive in their habitat as well as the world. Guests must sign a waiver in the Guest Services office prior to the encounter. Children aged 0-2 are free but must be held by parent or guardian the entire time during the Wild Encounter. Parents are limited to bringing in one child under 5 for each guardian over the age of 18. Groups meet at the grizzly statue by the swift foxes at 9:45 a.m.
Please check in at guest services at least 30 minutes prior to your wild encounter start time.
